Why use The Inforcer
It the most realistic training available for forcible entry. The Inforcer is a worthy investment for training academies and fire departments both large and small. The simulator enables consistent, fast and replicable training exercises.
What is the cost of The Inforcer and what is included?
$7,500 plus shipping and handling. Included in the price is a basic amount of consumables along with jigs for making your own pins and inserts. A train-the-the trainer session at your location and forcible entry CD are also included.
What does the train-the-trainer session include?
The T-T-T session will include a classroom session that uses a PowerPoint presentation to go over a variety of forcible entry techniques. The presentation includes videos and photos to cover not only the evolutions of The Inforcer, but also subjects like through-the-lock forcible entry and overhead door cutting. We have been commended by numerous departments on the quality of the T-T-T sessions. A copy of the CD is included for your departmental use. Following the classroom session, we will go outside and go over The Inforcer simulator. Instructors will all have a chance to use the simulator until they are comfortable teaching to others.
How much is shipping?
The simulator is shipped on a large pallet and shipping can vary depending on where you are located. The S&H usually ranges from $300-$500. Your agency must have a forklift or receiving dock to offload because the shipping pallet is too large for a lift gate.
Is it possible to "rent" The Inforcer simulator?
Right now, we are unable to "rent" The Inforcer. We believe that it is imperative for us to be onsite to help instructors best learn how to instruct using the simulator.
Do we have to buy the consumables from you?
Absolutely not. We use the analogy of a glucometer. Most glucometer companies will give you a glucometer for free, but they make money on selling your the strips. We would rather have you make your own consumables because it saves you money. You are not forced to pay shipping and they consumables are easy to make. At the very least you can get hinges, cut plates, carriage bolts, and padlocks locally. Use the extra money for your training budget to get the most bang for your buck.
Where can I see The Inforcer?
We have simulators from coast to coast and will be happy to put you in contact with an agency near you. They will give you an unbiased opinion of the simulator. Also we will have a booth at three major conferences this year; Firehouse World in San Diego, FDIC in Indianapolis, and IChiefs in Dallas. Please stop by our booth and we would enjoy meeting you.
Can you send me materials in the mail?
We are active firefighters with families and we have focused our energy on our website and conferences to get the word out. We have not developed a literature at this time, but will be happy to send a PDF file of our flyer that we have at conferences.
What is the purchasing process?
Once you decide to make a purchase, we need either a purchase order number or an email detailing your desire to purchase. At that point we will attempt to set up a training date at least 25 days in advance. We will schedule shipping and cannot guarantee a delivery date unless you request a delivery date guarantee. That guarantee is usually $150 or so depending on the freight company. We do not use a designated freight company due to a variety of shipping rates across the country. Once delivered we will arrive on the training date and complete the set up for you and commence with the training. If at any time during the process you have questions, please contact us via email or phone.
Does The Inforcer LLC have any other products?
We are currently finishing up on an overhead door cutting simulator that can use almost any type of overhead door including rolling steel doors and sectional panels. We have the prototype finished and are doing final testing. We are also working on a simple rebar cutting tree. Our main design engineer is Craig Walker. If you would like any information about these other products please contact us.
