Forcing a commercial inward swinging door with common hand tools takes much practice. And that is what The Inforcer was made for. The simulator allows firefighters to first gap the door with the adze end of the halligan. Once the door is gapped, two firefighters are able to start at an angle to the door and continue to increase the angle of the halligan away from the door until the tool is perpendicular to the door. At this time, the halligan is driven approximately one inch past the jamb. Push the halligan back towards the door and entry is complete.

ALWAYS REMEMBER PROPER DOOR CONTROL IN ANY FORCIBLE ENTRY EVOLUTION!

A great view of the halligan being driven past the jamb and inside molding.

Also notice the bending of the metal insert. This is what makes The Inforcer such a unique simulator. It offers the most realistic forcible entry simulation available. The only thing that compares to it is a real door, which can only be forced one time.
